My career has been spent in the nonprofit space, uplifting organizations with missions ranging from combating the teacher shortage to refugee resettlement. At the same time, I’ve been building an online brand that centers the city of Birmingham and frames it in a way that is empowering.

At first, these two ventures felt disconnected from each other. A career and a hobby. Something serious balanced by something fun. But over time, the lines have blurred into one colorful, life-giving patchwork across my life. From both 9-5 and 5-9, I spend my days connecting people to the good that is happening all around us. And at the center of it all, stories are the driving force.
